As a country we are obsessed with food, but less obsessed with talking about the issue of hunger.
To interrupt the food obsessed in an effort to change the conversation, we hijacked food porn for the week by giving a voice to hunger on Twitter, sharing content that addressed the everyday challenges of a food insecure family. #tweetsofhunger
To amplify the campaign, we mobilized media spokespeople who addressed the importance of hunger in Canada and discussed what local communities could do to support Hunger Awareness Week.
